Piper Music is NW Washington’s largest source of sheet music. We pride ourselves on our exceptional research and special order service, backed by over thirty years of experience working with publishers from around the world. To better serve our growing musical community, we also offer new and beautifully refurbished pianos, a stringed instrument rental program and instrument lessons.

Piper Music is an outgrowth of my lifetime love of and involvement in music. I grew up in a family of musicians and received my B.A. in music from St. Olaf College in 1976. Since graduating, I have worked in sheet music stores, music libraries and as a piano teacher. I opened Piper Music in 1991 and have been pleased to see it grow from a small sheet music store to one of the largest sheet music outlet in NW Washington.

Our customers include amateur and professional musicians alike, from “fledgling” students buying their first instruction book to professional conductors planning their next season. These musicians have made it possible for us to continue serving this wonderful community. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to serving you for years to come.
